Technology platform Lyte has partnered with North America’s largest independent ticketing company Etix on a new affordable ticketing solution.
The two companies are working together to help more people safely and easily attend live events such as concerts, festivals, sports, conferences and the performing arts.
Like Lyte, the services Etix provides are based on technology. Founded in 2000, the web-based ticketing service provider for the entertainment industry processes 50 million tickets per year for more than 2,000 international clients.
The Lyte exchange platform gives fans an opportunity to buy tickets from fans that can’t go at a fair market price. Ticketing partners like Etix issue new, valid tickets with a new barcode or wristband to the fans that make the purchase.
By partnering with Lyte, Etix clients – such as venues, festivals, theatres and arenas – will be able to utilise Lyte and launch an exchange.
“Lyte and Etix have a lot in common in that we are both obsessed with finding unique ticketing solutions for fans and organisers of the most amazing live events around,” said Ant Taylor, Lyte’s founder and CEO.
“We partnered with Lyte to offer our clients a secure, fan-first, solution to the secondary market,” said Travis Janovich, founder at Etix. “Lyte will help curtail fraud, reduce no-show rates, drive incremental revenue, and deliver real, cost-effective savings to fans.”
