Elation Professional introduced its new Paragon series of LED profile luminaires at the LDI tradeshow in Las Vegas. The lighting system features variable colour rendering index (CRI) control and weather resistance for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The series includes two models: the Paragon S with a 550W LED engine producing 20,500 lumens, and the Paragon M, featuring a 900W engine delivering 37,000 lumens. Both incorporate the company’s new TruTone technology, which allows adjustment between CRI 70 and CRI 93.
“We’ve set a new benchmark for fixture adaptability and creative control with a standard of features that is unprecedented in an automated moving head,” said Elation Product Manager Matthias Hinrichs.
The fixtures carry an IP54 rating for protection against water and dust, enabling use in temporary outdoor installations. Both models include rotating glass gobos, animation wheels, and framing systems for beam control.
Key features of the Paragon S included a zoom range from 5° to 50°, seven rotating glass gobos, and nine fixed metal gobos. The larger Paragon M offered a 5° to 52° zoom range and two wheels of seven rotating glass gobos.
“Lighting designers will be amazed by the accuracy and detail they can achieve from these luminaires,” said Hinrichs, “Whether they’re lighting a concert stage, theatre production, or corporate event.”
The series has an extended warranty, covering the first three years of operation and offering five-year coverage for the LED array.
