ROE Visual is set to launch a range of new products – Black Quartz and Ruby – at this year’s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) exhibition, to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 11-14 February 2020.
The unveiling strives to centre the company as a leader in the field of LED technology for applications in both the rental and system integration markets.
The Ruby LED panels are a successor to the Black Onyx product and in addition to being stronger, have less reflection and more contrast due to an optimised black body. Each LED has four individual lenses instead of one large one, which the company says reduces the glare effect and creates perfect on-camera visuals.
ROE Visual also says using common cathode technology significantly reduces panel power consumption and temperature, resulting in efficient heat dissipation, reduced colour differences and higher brightness. Fitted with advanced driver ICs and LEDs with large colour space, Ruby is fully HDR adaptive, adding colour depth and grey scales.
Elsewhere, the Black Quartz LED panels (pictured above) have an integrated wind-bracing system, designed to withstand the pressures of outdoor events. Its stable LED performance – with reduced colour differences and relative high brightness – is the result of a significantly reduced panel temperature and efficient heat-dissipation, much like the Ruby.
The company says high-performance processing cards on the Black Quartz panels boost visual quality, with the product also having HDR10, natural true colour, low latency, module calibration, edge correction and 10-bit grey scales as added features. The Black Quartz can also be run on a low brightness mode for grey scales at indoor use.
