Follow-Me showcased its latest performer tracking solutions at LDI 2024 in Las Vegas, introducing new weatherproof hardware and software updates for lighting and stage automation applications.
The company presented two hardware products: the Track-iT Weatherproof Anchor for outdoor use and a black version of the Track-iT Tag designed for discreet integration into productions. The systems worked with any lighting console and fixture type that could pan and tilt.
“Our priority is providing tools that simplify complex productions while enhancing creative control,” said Tim van Dijck, product manager at Follow-Me. “These updates showcase our commitment to continuous improvement, making Follow-Me more versatile, efficient, and easier to use than ever before.”
The latest software version features improved fixture refinement and enhanced aiming modes. A new Proximity feature enables dynamic control of conventional lights based on performer position, technology already used in productions for Rammstein, Ed Sheeran, and The Rolling Stones.
The tracking system allows multiple fixtures to be allocated per performer enabling users to switch between manual and automated tracking. Users can monitor the tracking area through camera feeds for both operation modes.
